Honeysuckle Homewares
The concept for Honeysuckle originated when Mr. Kufoof and his wife stumbled upon a charming homewares store in Double Bay that was connected to a hotel. They were captivated by the idea and saw the potential to bring this concept to a larger audience. Thus, they decided to introduce a similar concept on a grander scale within a shopping centre.
The new store would offer an array of upscale homeware options and picnicware, catering specifically to discerning customers. Vibrant and visually appealing, the store would be situated in the bustling Brickworks Shopping Centre, conveniently located in Southport, Queensland.
Squids Ink Newsagents
The Squids Ink Newsagent originated from the need for a newsagent and stationary supply in the vicinity of the Brickworks Shopping Centre in Southport, Queensland. It was during the construction of Mr. Kufoof’s first Honeysuckle Homewares store that this observation was made. Recognizing the opportunity, his team member Jenny, who is actively engaged in the operations of the business, suggested the name Squids Ink Newsagency, drawing inspiration from the association between squids and ink. The store caters to customers seeking lottery tickets, as well as offering a wide range of magazines, newspapers, stationery, and technology products.
